In this roundtable the Center for Indian Country Development will convene two other practitioners who collect and analyze tribal economic data to discuss the practical applications of Indigenous Data Sovereignty and the CARE principles when it comes to data collection, analysis and reporting with tribal governments. Discussion will center the CARE principles and how they relate to the data projects for each panelist. The theme this discussion will touch primarily on Responsibility as it provides examples of how those who work with tribal economic data use it to advance tribal sovereignty and economic prosperity and will also include the theme of collective benefit as we reflect how our respective projects advance Indigenous community and tribal government priorities.
