As Indigenous data sovereignty (IDSov) and Indigenous data governance (IDGov) gain momentum across the United States, numerous Indigenous Peoples, communities, and nations within US territories, and tribes without federal or state recognition face unique challenges. Despite the myriad ways the US settler-state constrains self-determined governance in these places, Indigenous Peoples from Guåhan to Borikén (Puerto Rico), American Samoa, US Virgin Islands, and all across Turtle Island continue to lead abundant movements for healthy communities and futures, including in relation to food sovereignty, seed sovereignty, energy sovereignty, water protection, Indigenous language and education revitalization, political independence, and more. This roundtable session seeks to convene Indigenous and allied Summit participants with ties to US territories and non-recognized tribes to discuss the role of IDSov and IDGov in strengthening our respective movements. Our goals for this roundtable session include:

1) Share IDSov and IDGov strategies being mobilized across our contexts,

2) Share unique IDSov and IDGov related challenges facing our communities, and

3) Discuss pathways for building inter-island and cross-community solidarity and strategies for strengthening IDSov and IDGov movements across our contexts/communities.
